My photography sessions are totally tailored to you and your pet - with no time limits and no pressure.
Animals are just like you and me, they can get stressed out or anxious too - especially if they sense that their owner is stressed out. I always want my photo shoots to be fun! There's no rush. I will spend as much time as it takes to get awesome pictures of your furry friend that you'll love and cherish for a lifetime!
Sessions start at $250.

THE SHOOT
​
Now for the fun part!
​
My goal is to capture your pets unique personality and character. Sessions are all about relaxing and having fun! Lots of treats, ear scratches and tail wags.
​
I'll spend a few minutes letting your dog or cat get used to me and my camera, and then I'll start shooting.
​
I never expect your pet to sit still for longer than two seconds. Patience is key!
Sessions usually last between 1-2 hours depending on your pet.

VIEWING AND ORDERING

A few days after the shoot I'll send you an online album of your photos so you can view all your images for the first time in the comfort of your home.
You can choose your favourite images for me to edit and take a look at some gorgeous sample products before placing your order.
The best part of my job is seeing your photos turned into stunning wall art or a beautiful album.

OUTDOOR SESSIONS
An on-location shoot anywhere in Calgary.
It can be urban - like Stephen Ave or the River Walk - or at a park or garden. I usually recommend places like Fish Creek, Bowness, or Edworthy.
Or, if you're feeling really adventurous, we can spend a day shooting in Banff or Canmore!

Outdoor sessions usually last about 1-2 hours. They're great for dogs with a lot of energy, or if your dog is very timid and finds things like flashing lights and new people scary.

I will shoot posed portraits, action shots, and photos of your pup in the moment, having fun!
​
If you have more than one dog, I'll take pictures of them together as well as individually.
​
Worried about your dog being off-leash?
Don't worry! Most of the dogs I photograph are on leashes. I remove the leash afterwards when I'm editing.
That's right! All those perfect, well behaved pooches you see in my photos - they were on leashes! Not perfect, well-behaved, little angels!
STUDIO SESSIONS
A studio-style session in your home with colourful backdrops and no time limit!
All of my equipment is small and portable so I can set up in your home. I find dogs and cats are always more comfortable in their own home, which allows me to truly capture their personality.

I only need about and arms length of space in both directions - so basically - if you can fit a coffee table in your place, I can fit my backdrop!
You can choose up to three different background colours. I can do any colour you can think of! Some of my clients choose colours that will match other artwork or furniture in their home. If you show me the colour I can match it up exactly.
Studio sessions usually last about 1 - 2 hours depending on your pet.

Your furry friend does not need to stay still for a studio session! I rarely have dogs and cats who stay on the backdrop for more than two seconds at a time.
​
I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get the best possible photos of your pet. Usually treats or toys depending on what they like. I also have a few different noise makers to get them to look at the camera and give me that adorable head tilt!
​
During our session I'll do posed photos as well as some fun ones - like your pet showing off their favourite trick, or chasing bubbles!
​
If you have more than one pet, I'll take pictures of them together as well as individually.

As far as post processing goes – I run all my images through a combination of Adobe’s Lightroom and Photoshop. I shoot in RAW so I can process my images to adjust things like sharpness, contrast, color cast, etc. I can also remove leashes and eye goobers to make sure your pet looks their best!
